What if I’m not in to sign for my logs?
Our couriers, DHL do need a signature for the logs, if you are not going to be in then maybe you could have them sent to a neighbour, relative,
friend or your place of work.
Alternatively if you have a safe place i.e. a porch, shed or garage then the driver will be more than happy to leave your logs.
All you need to do is tell us your
requirements and leave the rest to us!

Can I track my order?
Certainly, once your logs are dispatched
you are sent an email confirming that they
have left us and are en-route.
You will be given a unique Consignment
Number and we will also have
passed your mobile telephone number
onto the carriers and they will
text you with a two hour delivery
window and any updates.
Please note that the tracking information
will not be available until after 8.00 p.m.
on the day your shipment left us. |
When will the logs be delivered?
If you provide a mobile contact
telephone number DHL will send you a
text on the day with a one or
two hour delivery window
Normally, the logs are delivered before
close of business the day after they have
left us – this can be anytime up until 6.00 p.m.,
We do personally look after and monitor
every shipment and if a delay is likely
you will be contacted and advised
accordingly of any problems. |

Can I have a Saturday Delivery?
No problem, the extra charge for this
is £25.00 per shipment.
If you have a Saturday delivery,
your logs will be with you before
10.30 a.m.
Again, if you have specific requests
– do please let us know.

How will they arrive?
Unless you advise us to the contrary we
will always organise a vehicle with a tail-lift
and a hand-truck to manoeuvre the
load to as close to your door as is possible.

I have a gravel drive –
is this a problem?
Yes, obviously the driver will do all he
can to accommodate your load but
he cannot work miracles!
Please give us as much information as
you can and we will do our best to help.

What if I’m not in to sign for my logs?
Our Couriers do need a signature for the logs.
With single boxes we can always come up
with alternative delivery arrangements,
however with multiple boxes this is a problem.
As long as we have sufficient notice we can ask
the driver to call you (preferably on a mobile number) and he will be able to give you an
E.T.A. so that someone is able to meet
the driver and sign for the logs.

Will the driver help unload
the boxes?
No. However, if you feel that to unload
the boxes and then say stack them in
the garage is too much for you, we can
send out a Special Two Man Team.
This service does carry an additional
charge (please call for details, giving
post code and requirements)
and we do need at least two working
days advance notice.

Should I check the load for damages
when I receive it?
Yes, absolutely. If you are in any way
dissatisfied with the load i.e. gaping holes
in the boxes, obvious damage, incorrect
goods then please do make sure to make
a note on the Drivers’ Delivery Manifest,
sign it and we will then be able to deal
with any Damage or Insurance Claim
on your behalf.
Without this notice any subsequent insurance
claims will be invalidated.

I would like a delivery before
12.00 noon – is this possible?
Yes, but this service does carry
a further charge of £30.00.
If you live in Central London or in a
particularly rural area do please
advise us and we can let you
know if there is going to
be a problem. |
Can I have a Saturday Delivery?

Saturday deliveries will happen
in the morning .

this affect my deliveries?
Although we do send our logs out
on a Next Day Delivery Service,
the geographical location does play
a part – see below for
extended delivery times:

to 3 day service and may incur
extra charges –

Northern Ireland
The following locations have a
5 day service and will incur extra
charges – please call for
delivery rates:
Channel Islands;
Inner Hebrides;
Outer Hebrides;
Isle of Man;
Orkney Islands;
Scilly Isles;
Shetland Islands
and the
Isle of Wight
When placing your order, please
do bear in mind the extended
delivery times for the above
locations (Saturday and
Timed Deliveries are
not available on the
